Library Virtual Visit
Check out our virtual library visit, perfect for helping little ones learn more about librarians as community helpers. Our accompanying lesson plans created by local educators walk you through a whole unit on sharing the joy of libraries with your students.
Get Georgia Reading
Get Georgia Reading is a statewide initiative developed to get every child in Georgia to become a proficient reader by the end of third grade. Visit their website to find videos, partner links, and publications you can use to take action in your work.
Reading Rockets brings the best research-based strategies to anyone involved in helping a young child become a strong, confident reader. Their goal is to bring the reading research to life — to spread the word about reading instruction and to present "what works" in a way that parents and educators can understand and use.
The Deal Center
The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy is on a mission to improve the early language and literacy skills of Georgia’s children by providing research-based professional development for organizations working with children from birth to age eight.
